STUDENTS’ ERROR ON USING REGULAR AND IRREGULAR VERB IN WRITING NARRATIVE ESSAY

Abstract


 Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh bagaimana penggunaan kata kerja yang beraturan dan tidak beraturan yang error untuk menghindari miskomunikasi pada tulisan naratif esai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui error mahasiswa dalam penggunaan kata kerja yang beraturan dan tidak beraturan  pada tulisan naratif esai. Setelah itu, hasil penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa bentuk-bentuk kata error pada kata kerja yang beraturan dan tidak beraturan pada tulisan naratif esai. Adapun bentuk kata kerja yang beraturan yang ditemukan seperti; (1) kick, (2) use, (3) enjoy, (4) attend, dan (5) prepare. Bentuk kata kerja yang tidak beraturan yang ditemukan seperti; (1) choose, (2) get, (3) goes, (4) meet, dan (5) do. Mahasiswa melakukan error dalam penggunaan kata kerja yang beraturan dan tidak beraturan karena mahasiswa tidak mengetahui aturan kata kerja yang beraturan dan tidak beraturan dengan baik.
